SaveJar Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 June 2026

SaveJar ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal savings-goal tracker. We have built SaveJar to keep your data private. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.

The short version

SaveJar does not require an account, and your savings goals, deposits, notes, and photos are stored only on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

Information stored on your device

If you delete the app, this data is removed from your device.

Purchases

SaveJar offers an optional paid upgrade ("SaveJar Pro") through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Purchases are processed by Apple. To manage your subscription status and unlock Pro features, we use RevenueCat, which receives your purchase/receipt information and an anonymous, randomly generated identifier. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any personal profile. We never see your payment-card details — those are handled entirely by Apple.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, SaveJar schedules local notifications on your device (for example, a weekly saving reminder or a milestone celebration). These are generated on your device and are not sent through our servers.

What we do NOT do

Children's privacy

SaveJar is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
